Onboarding Mechanics

Sadapp uses invitation-driven onboarding for agents. A server record is created only after first successful telemetry connect and backend binding.

1. Create invite from Add Server.
2. Agent starts with invite token.
3. First telemetry POST binds invite to an actual server record.
4. UI marks onboarding complete after backend confirms first heartbeat.

SNMP-first devices are added directly as managed servers through the SNMP lane and then enriched by polling cycles.

Use this lane for network devices, appliances, and non-agent hosts.

• Invitation page remains part of operational workflows and audits.
• Access and ownership should be set after initial heartbeat and hostname stabilization.
• Use server details to validate telemetry freshness before assigning alert policies.
